Junior Editor/Motion Designer
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Junior Editor/Motion Designer to join us on our mission in creating the best social-first content on the planet 🖥️

- NUSA STUDIOS is a social-first content studio. We’re an agile team of 12 in-house creatives, producers, shooters and editors.
- Founded during the pandemic, we’ve created thumb-stopping content for some of the world's most recognised brands including Ford, Casio & American Express, as well as a few of the hottest startups such as Surreal, Estrid & Lucky Saint.
- We’re looking for a skilled and creative, full-time junior Editor/Motion Designer to join us on our mission in creating the best social-first content on the planet.
THE ROLE
- Edit raw footage into videos for various platforms, predominantly for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) but also including TV, OOH, website etc.
- Understand and execute different video styles and formats, with a particular flair for engaging social content.
- Create and incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance videos.
- Work with the creative team to understand project goals, storyboard ideas, and ensure the final product meets the desired quality and objectives.
- Review and revise content based on feedback, ensuring that all videos meet technical and creative standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Accurately estimate edit times and stick to these allocated timelines.
- Keep up with the latest video editing and motion graphics trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Assist senior editors and the creative team in larger projects, providing input and helping with various editing tasks as needed.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- 1+ years experience as a video editor whether that be in a similar role at an agency, brand or as a freelancer.
- Proficient in video editing softwares such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro similar. Basic experience with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is a must.
- Experience in other Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition is a bonus.
- Strong sense of design, timing, and pacing in video editing. Ability to think creatively and contribute original ideas to projects.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all aspects of video production.
- Can work at a fast pace to deliver videos with tight timelines.
- An ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and feedback. A proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
- A degree in Film, Media Production, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and motion graphics work is required.
